Tropical Depression (TD) 4 Stregthens into Tropical Storm Danielle – Heavy Rain the Main Threat for Southeast Mexico

TD Four has intensified and has been named Tropical Storm Danielle. Danielle’s main threat for portions of Southeast Mexico is heavy rainfall. A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect from Laguna Verde to Rio Panuco Mexico. Tropical Storm Danielle is the earliest 4th tropical storm on record in the Atlantic basin. The previous record was held by Debbie on June 23, 2012. Danielle is not expected to reach hurricane strength.
