SKYWARN Recognition Day 2015 (SRD’15) has been set for Saturday December 5th, 2015 from 0000-2400 UTC (Friday Evening December 4th, 2015 – 700 PM EST-Saturday Evening December 5th, 2015 – 700 PM EST). The VoIP Hurricane Prep Net for Saturday December 5th, 2015 will be at 700 PM EST immediately following SRD’15 activities. The SRD web site has been updated and more details will follow in the next few days to one week. See link below:

As we have done for the last several years, the *WX_TALK* Echolink conference node: 7203/IRLP 9219 system will have a NWS Forecast Office act as a net control on the system and rotate among the various NWS Forecast Offices over the course of the event. Scheduling time slots to prior NWS Forecast Offices that have been on the system is ongoing and then the request will be opened up to any new NWS forecast offices that would like a time slot as net control.
