Tropical Storm Beryl Critical Update at 8 PM EDT – Beryl Near Hurricane Strength – VoIP Hurricane Net Monitoring System

Hello to all..

Reconnaisance Aircraft and Doppler Radar data show Beryl is near hurricane strength. Beryl will make landfall late tonight with some of the strongest winds occurring at and just after landfall. The latest 8 PM advisory has been read over the *WX-TALK* Echolink conference node: 7203/IRLP 9219 reflector system. The VoIP Hurricane Net will be monitoring Beryl throughout the evening into early Monday Morning for any reports meeting the SKYWARN/VoIP Hurricane Net Reporting criteria. That criteria appears via the following link:

Any stations from Southern South Carolina, Southeast Georgia, and Northeast Florida with reports fitting the criteria can pass them to our net and will be put in our reporting form to reach National Hurricane Center Forecast Specialists. Liaisons to local SKYWARN Nets in the affected area that can pass information to us are welcome. Listen-only capability at this time include:
