Tropical Storm Don Forms in the Atlantic

Tropical Storm Don formed Monday Evening and will move through the Windward Islands tonight with maximum sustained winds of 50 MPH. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Barbados, St Lucia and Bonaire. Advisories on Tropical Storm Don can be seen off the main menu of the voipwx.net web site, via the voipwxnet Facebook and Twitter feeds and from the National Hurricane Center web site at the following link:

Don is not expected to reach hurricane strength and Don is expected to weaken as it moves into the Southeast Caribbean Sea on Wednesday so activation of the VoIP Hurricane Net is currently not anticipated. Nonetheless, the VoIP Hurricane Net Management Team will closely monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Don. Thanks to all for their continued support of the VoIP Hurricane Net!
