Tropical Depression (TD) 3 Forms in the Atlantic – Will Bear Close Monitoring By End of Week As It Tracks Near/Over the Windward/Leeward Islands
Hello to all…
Tropical Depression (TD) 3 has formed in the Atlantic. TD 3 is expected to intensify into a tropical storm within the next day or two and expected to be a hurricane as it tracks near or over the Windward/Leeward Islands. If the storm intensifies as expected, it will be named Bret. National Hurricane Center (NHC) advisories on TD 3 can be seen off the Atlantic Tropical Products menu of the VoIP Hurricane Net web site, via our voipwxnet Facebook and Twitter feeds and at the NHC web site at the following link:
VoIP Hurricane Net activation is possible some time in the Thursday to Friday timeframe depending on the track, speed and intensity of TD 3. The VoIP Hurricane Net will closely monitor TD 3 and other systems in the Tropics. Thanks to all for their continued support of the VoIP Hurricane Net!
