Tropical Depression (TD) #5 Forms in the Southeast Gulf of Mexico

Tropical Depression #5 has formed in the Southeast Gulf of Mexico. TD #5 is expected to intensify into a Tropical Storm and if it does as expected, it will be named Danielle. A Tropical Storm Warning has been posted from Destin Florida to intracoastal city Louisiana including Lake Pontchartrain and New Orleans. At this time, TD #5 is not expected to obtain hurricane strength but this will be monitored closely by the VoIP Hurricane Net Management Team.
