VoIP Hurricane Net Activation for Hurricane Karl on Friday September 17th, 2010 at 10 AM EDT

..VoIP Hurricane Net to activate formally at 10 AM EDT/1400 UTC Friday September 17th, 2010 for Impact of Hurricane Karl over Eastern Coastal Mexico. Activation is expected to last through late Friday Evening. Activation will take place on the *WX_TALK* Echolink Conference Node: 7203/IRLP 9219 system for the duration of this event..
Hurricane Karl is a category two hurricane headed for the coast of Mexico. The VoIP Hurricane Net will activate at 10 AM EDT/1400 UTC looking for surface reports from stations in the affected area of Hurricane Karl or from Amateur Radio Operators who have contact with the affected area of Hurricane Karl through any relays or people they know in the area.
